What is a Invisalign ?
Invisalign is a clear aligner system that gradually moves your teeth into alignment using a series of custom-fitted removable trays. Each set of trays is worn for about two weeks before progressing to the next, slowly shifting your teeth toward their final position.

Custom Aligner Fabrication
Your complete series of custom aligners is fabricated using your scan data. Each tray is designed to apply precise, controlled pressure to move specific teeth incrementally toward their final positions.
Wearing Your Aligners
You wear each set of aligners for approximately 22 hours per day, removing them only to eat and clean your teeth. You progress to the next set every one to two weeks.
Retention Phase
Once treatment is complete, a retainer is worn to hold your teeth in their new positions. This prevents relapse and keeps your results permanent long term.

Invisalign FAQs
Treatment typically takes 6 to 18 months depending on how much correction is needed. Minor crowding or spacing issues are on the shorter end. More complex bite corrections or significant misalignment cases take longer.
Most patients experience mild pressure or discomfort for the first day or two after switching to a new set of aligners. This is normal and indicates the aligners are working. It typically fades within 24 to 48 hours.
You remove the aligners to eat and drink anything other than water. This means no food restrictions and no risk of staining the aligners. Simply put them back in after eating and rinsing your mouth.
Once your final position is achieved you move into the retention phase, wearing a retainer to hold the results. Retainers are typically worn nightly long term. Without retention, teeth can shift back over time.
