Dental pain and emergencies do not wait. We accept walk-ins at our Midtown East office and do everything we can to see you the same day.
(5-star rating from our smiling customers.)

Emergency dentistry covers any dental situation that requires immediate attention to relieve pain, address infection, or prevent further damage to a tooth. Common emergencies include severe toothaches, cracked or broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, lost crowns or fillings, and dental abscesses.
At United Nations Plaza Dental, we accept walk-in emergency patients at our 919 2nd Ave Midtown East location. Call us as soon as possible and our team will fit you in the same day. The faster you come in the better your chances of saving the tooth and minimizing treatment complexity.

1K+
Severe tooth pain that is not going away on its own
A tooth that is cracked, broken, or has been knocked out
A crown, filling, or bridge that has fallen off and left the tooth exposed
Swelling in your jaw, gums, or face that suggests a possible abscess or infection
Bleeding from the mouth that does not stop with gentle pressure

Call (212) 949-6105 as soon as your emergency occurs. Our team will ask about your situation, give you instructions for managing it until your appointment, and fit you in as quickly as possible.

When you arrive we perform a focused examination and take X-rays to assess the situation. Our goal is to diagnose quickly, relieve your pain, and give you a clear picture of what needs to happen next.

Depending on the situation we will treat the problem directly on the same visit wherever possible. This may include tooth repair, temporary or permanent restoration, infection management, or stabilization to protect the tooth until a follow-up appointment.

After addressing the immediate emergency we outline the next steps. Some situations are fully resolved in one visit. Others require a follow-up for a permanent restoration or further treatment. You leave with a clear plan and no surprises.

You do not need to be an existing patient to be seen for an emergency. We welcome new patients in urgent situations.

We do everything possible to see emergency patients the same day they call. Call as early as possible for the best chance of same-day availability.

Located at 919 2nd Ave, accessible from Grand Central and multiple subway lines, making us one of the most reachable emergency dental options in Midtown.

Whether your emergency requires a root canal, a crown, a periodontal procedure, or a tooth implant, our team can handle every next step in-house.

All-on-6 replaces an entire arch of missing teeth with one fixed, comprehensive solution — upper, lower, or both.

Six implants distribute bite force more evenly across the jaw than fewer-implant solutions — providing a more natural feel and greater long-term stability.

Your new arch is permanently fixed — no removal at night, no adhesives, no slipping, no dietary restrictions.

With proper care and regular checkups, dental implants are designed to be a long-term solution. Results vary by patient, and our team will give you an honest assessment of what to expect during your consultation.

Severe pain, swelling, bleeding, knocked-out or broken teeth, lost crowns or fillings, and abscesses are all dental emergencies. If you are in significant discomfort or something feels seriously wrong, call us. We will help you decide if you need to come in immediately.
Handle the tooth by the crown, not the root. Rinse gently if dirty. Keep it moist by placing it in milk or holding it between your cheek and gum. Call us immediately and come in within 30 minutes if possible.
